Unlock maximum unrestricted airflow and razor-sharp throttle response with the race-bred Polini 45mm Performance Air Filter Assembly. Engineered in Italy, this high-porosity expanded foam element flows significantly more air volume than restrictive factory airboxes, allowing your engine to extract maximum peak horsepower. Equipped with a removable, impact-resistant plastic splash shroud, this kit blocks out harmful tire-flung road spray, dust, and moistureensuring consistent, dry airflow whether you are battling track conditions or logging daily urban commutes.
Advanced Induction Features
- High-Flow Foam Element: Maximum filtration with minimal air resistance for improved throttle response and top-end power.
- Removable Splash Cover: Black impact-resistant plastic shield protects against water and road grime ideal for daily street use. Keep it on in wet conditions to prevent waterlogging.
- 45mm Universal Flange: Fits performance carburetors, including the Polini CP, Dell'Orto PHBG, OKO, and similar 45mm intake bells.
- Fully Washable & Reusable: Clean the foam element regularly for a lifetime of performance.
- Italian Engineering: Authentic Polini craftsmanship, proven on the racetrack and refined for street use.
Comprehensive Carburetor Compatibility Index
This filter features a 45mm (~1.75") internal mounting diameter. It is designed to clamp directly onto performance carburetors utilizing a 45mm outer diameter (OD) intake bell. Review common tuning match-ups below:
| Carburetor Family | Intake Bell Fitment Size | Common Engine Platform Applications |
|---|
| Polini CP Series | Fits 17.5mm, 19mm, 21mm, and 23mm variants | Minarelli / Jog 50, Genuine Buddy, Vespa 2T tuning builds |
| Dell'Orto PHBG | Direct match for 45mm threaded or smooth bells | High-RPM European 2-stroke performance configurations |
| OKO / PWK (Small Body) | Fits 21mm through 28mm small-body slide variants | Upgraded GY6 50cc, 139QMB, and 2-stroke stroker blocks |
| GY6 Large Performance Carbs | Fits select 30mm+ performance slide upgrade layouts | Big-bore GY6 125cc / 150cc scooter and buggy platforms |
CRITICAL TUNING REQUIREMENT: Increasing your engine's airflow demands a corresponding increase in fuel delivery. When ditching your restrictive factory airbox for this high-flow racing filter, you MUST up-jet your carburetor's main jet to prevent running dangerously lean, which can cause severe overheating or immediate top-end piston seizure.
