Don't let a failing fuel pump leave you stranded at the side of the road. Heat, ethanol-rich fuel, and long periods of storage can cause the internal motor of your factory pump to seize or lose pressure, resulting in "crank-but-no-start" conditions or sluggish high-speed performance. This high-output aftermarket assembly is engineered to restore consistent fuel delivery and correct rail pressure, ensuring your fuel-injected Vespa starts reliably and pulls hard through the entire RPM range.
Precision Fuel Delivery: Maintains optimal PSI levels to ensure the fuel injector provides a perfect mist for efficient combustion.
Ethanol-Resistant Seals: Equipped with upgraded internal seals designed to withstand the corrosive effects of modern E10 pump gas.
Quiet Operation: Features a high-efficiency motor designed for low-noise performance compared to aging factory units.
Complete Drop-In Solution: Includes the pump motor and filter strainer to ensure a comprehensive repair and prevent debris from reaching the injector.
Part Number: 1640516-AFT
Voltage: 12V DC
System: Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI)
Includes: Internal Pump Motor & Filter Strainer
Maintenance Note: The number one killer of electric fuel pumps is heat. Try to avoid running your tank down to "empty" frequently; the fuel in the tank actually acts as a coolant for the pump motor.Installation Tip: Be extremely careful when disconnecting the plastic quick-connect fuel lines. These can become brittle over time. If the connector feels stuck, use a tiny amount of silicone spray to help slide the locking tab.Pro Tip: If you are replacing the pump due to a "clogged" system, always drain and flush the fuel tank of any old, stale gasoline before installing the new unit to prevent immediate contamination of the new strainer.
